pointed ad

Just found the ME/CFS Worldwide Patient Alliance. Looks interesting. Particularly their ad in the Washington Post.

I have reproduced it below by taking a screen shot of it. I hope that that is allowed. If you click on the picture you can read the writing.

Still love my iPad all these months later. After the last post I spent about three months being really sick. I still taught college, but I couldn't do extras like this blog. Then when I was a bit better, I had to catch up on work that I was behind with, so that everything could get done by the end of the year.

I flew to Queensland to see my parent's in law for Christmas. I flew!!! I was so scared but the people at Qantas were so helpful and amazing with their kindness and care for me, my wheelchair and my husband. I booked three seats across so that I could spend the time in flight with my legs up across the seats.

One of the most beautiful photographs I have ever seen I found in the Eyewitness app in my iPad. I don't think I can embed it here, but it is on the Guardian Website. Wish they made it easier to purchase photos, but it appears to be a very complicated process.

Something I have been meaning to mention is that I bought iBallz for my iPad. I watched the video below and decided that they were just what I needed.

I have been very happy with them, although they make the iPad bulky, but at least it is still unharmed and working well seven months after I bought it. I am not well at present. Am trying to prepare for Ignite in Sydney, but am really sick this week and not getting much done. Thank goodness I did an outline of the 20 Slides while I was in Qld.

Hopefully I will post a photo from my m-i-l's garden here soon. It was a really joyful experience being in her garden.
